Like time travelling only easier. Webcor tube (valve) reel-to-reel tape recorder with Philips EL3752/00 microphone connected to it's input. The Philips microphone is placed in front of the speaker of a Wurlitzer 145 tube(valve) electric piano. The Webcor tape recorder is miked with a Philips EL 3797/51 microphone to pick up and amplify it's mechanical noises through a kb electronic music instrumentation analog modular synthesizer. The DIY cassette (frippertronics-style) tape delay is on top of the electric piano and is using the factory built-in onboard microphone of the cassette record unit to record the reel-to-reel and electric piano sounds. The Koma elctronic field kit is being used to mix the signals of the two (three?) tape machines and add control voltage modulated FM radio. Do tubes (valves) sound better? No, no, of course not.
