Full title reads: “’It’s the School-Kiddies’ Henley!’ and the boys & girls - all under 14 - ’put it all in’ - even if not quite so fast as ’the grown ups’.“ Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. School boy rowers carry their oars down to the river bank. Lots of people are out to support them. The boys walk into their boats. Crowds at the waters edge cheer encouragement. M/S of boys racing in rather large and cumbersome looking rowing boats. School girl rowers walk to their craft carrying their oars. They sit down in their boats. Lots of school children cheer loudly. M/S of the girls rowing in a race. They are obviously putting all their effort into the race. Group of children - quite possibly the competitors - all holding toffee apples. Commentator asks ’Well son what do you think of the races?“ A young boy replies “Not bad, but I like these best.“ holding up his toffee apple.
