New Lightweight Machinegun FMG 762 VS M240 | Tactical Rifleman

I love machineguns. You love machineguns. Everyone loves machineguns. While I have some time shooting machineguns in Baghdad; you can never have ENOUGH time behind machineguns. So, when we were asking if we wanted to review a modern “Replacement“ for the M240B Machinegun, we of course jumped at the chance. We loaded up the TR truck and headed out to Arizona to link up with the team from Daycraft Systems. They had a bunch of really innovative projects from lightweight machineguns, to miniguns, and yes, a 50 caliber chain-gun!!! Modern replacement? What does that mean? Lighter is ALWAYS better; we want MLok to add accessories & optics; and we need reliability. Enter the FMG762 from Daycraft Systems. While there is a light-weight version of the M240 currently in service, it has HALF the life cycle of a normal 240. The Daycraft FMG762 is half the weight, but still maintains that longer life cycle. Lighter is better, especially when moving dismounted. This puppy was a total joy to
