U.S. warship in Red Sea reportedly attacked by drones from Yemen

According to a Pentagon statement on Sunday, it’s aware of reports that the USS Carney and other vessels were attacked by drones in the Red Sea, and “will provide information as it becomes available.“ No injuries or damage to the Carney, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer were reported. Shortly after, the Houthis announced they targeted two Israeli commercial ships on Sunday with an armed drone and a naval missile. A Houthi spokesperson said the vessels were attacked after they rejected warnings from the group.
