Koldun / Mondernte (Switzerland) S/T 2023 split

A split between two Swiss acts. Kuldun on its third outing, pursuing a harsher path into black metal but still with some degree of harmony, whereas Mondernte on its fourth release, brings a quite ritualistic ambient blended with folk and sparse blackened textures, brimming with harmonies, and vocal solos, even clean ones, occasionally showing a ritualistic side. Quite different acts, that despite their differences melt quite well together. The finishing track is an Urfaust cover.
