Sailors for Sustainability #71 - Food Forests (BRA) In Brazil we meet Ernst Götsch at his farm in Bahía. He pioneered agroforestry, a method of agriculture that works with nature by integrating crops with forests. Ernst regenerates ecosystems and enriches the soil through pruning. His methods eliminate erosion and the need for fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The biodiversity on his farm is immense and the many trees have led to an increase of rainfall and higher yields.
