OREGON BLUE LODGING Vernissage IREN ID presents THIRD EYE FROM BLUE OREGON fluid mixed technique without brush on canvas, 100х120 см, 2023 12-21 May 2023 International Gallery Area Contesa Arte Via Margutta, 90, Rome, Italy THIRD EYE The third eye (also known as the inner eye) in certain religious and esoteric traditions is considered an organ capable of perceiving invisible realities located beyond ordinary vision. It is located just above the root of the nose in a central point of the forehead called ajna in Sanskrit, at the height of the upper edge of the eyebrows. It is also spoken of as the threshold capable of leading into inner worlds and spaces of higher consciousness. In new age spirituality, the third eye can alternatively symbolize a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images that have a deep personal spiritual or psychological meaning. It is therefore often associated with visions, clairvoyance which includes the ability to observe chakras and auras, and out-of-body experiences. People who have supposedly developed the ability to use their third eye are sometimes known as seers. YInMn Blue - BLUE OREGON YInMn Blue (Y for yttrium, In for indium and Mn for manganese) is a blue inorganic pigment discovered by accident by student research at Oregon State University in 2009. It is the last blue shade to be synthesized, more than three centuries after the Prussian (or Berlin) blue of 1706. YInMn Blue is considered to all intents and purposes a pure color, i.e. a color without the addition of black or white pigments, brilliant capable of reflecting infrared radiation in an unusual way.
