Skyler Velazco Опубликовано: 18 нояб. 2013 г. Here's a video I made for my freshman English composition class. It's a remediation of President Kennedy's oft-overlooked 1963 address at American University in Washington D.C. in which he outlined the need for peace. I edited the speech to about 6 minutes, leaving out the more topical issues such as the Cold War and nuclear disarmament. It's been about 50 years since this speech was given and it's rhetor taken away. In these tumultuous times, I often think of this quote by the President's late brother Teddy, and apply it to the concept of world peace: “...the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.“ All media is public domain.
