Only 5% of the universe consists of normal matter (protons, neutrons, and electrons), while the remaining 95% is composed of dark matter (27%) and dark energy (68%). Dark matter, which does not interact with light, is inferred through its gravitational effects. Dark energy, a hypothetical energy form, contributes to the universe's accelerating expansion. The universe is thought to have four dimensions: three spatial (length, width, height) and one temporal (time).
