Flash flooding caused by torrential rains blew away buildings and cars at tourist sites as bad weather also led to the closure of the Dharamshala airport. A drain near Bhagsu Naga in the upper part of Dharamsala, adjacent to Mekleodganj, changed its course due to heavy rains, carried away four cars and several motorcycles, video clips were shown. This showed that the public school building in Bhagsunag was also damaged and the surrounding hotels were flooded.
