Pedal Paddle Website - Part 3 of a 3 part series in which I build a canoe from two sheets of marine ply in three days, invent a pedal to paddle propulsion system and travel from the navigable source of the Thames to London in support of charity. All materials used are free, spare or donated. In this episode I test the boat and propulsion system for the first time and travel 150 miles from the navigable source of the thames to London. The journey is filled with wildlife and wonderful people. It doesn't end quite as planned... This series is in support of The Lucy Rayner Foundation and StrongMen. Both charities provide crucial mental health care for those who might otherwise not qualify for help in their time of need. Head to for more information and to donate. Massive thank you to Mid-Sussex Timber for donating the two sheets of marine plywood used to build the boat, In-Gear Cycles for the used bike chain and to Cotswold Canoe Hire for donati
