“And Then There Was Silence“ tells the story of Cassandra’s visions of the coming Trojan War. Apollo gave her the gift of prophecy, but later he cursed her so that no one would ever believe her predictions. So she had to watch helpless while the Greeks conquered Troy and destroyed it. The song was inspired by Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey and Virgil’s Aeneid. This video is taken from the DVD “Imaginations Through the Looking Glass“, which was recorded in Coburg 2003 and released in 2004.
