This week, a brand-new volcanic eruption occurred at the often-visited Bromo volcano in Indonesia. New eruptions also occurred at volcanoes in two additional separate countries! One of these other new eruptions occurred at the Ambae shield volcano in Vanuatu, sending a plume of ash into the sky which was detected by satellites. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, increasing seismic activity was detected at the Dempo volcano. This video will discuss these stories and list the 48 volcanoes which are actively erupting around the planet.
