Protesters are calling for a ceasefire and talks during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. On Saturday, October 7, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, involving rocket attacks and a ground incursion. In response, Israel conducted large-scale airstrikes on Gaza. At time of publication, the Gaza Health Ministry has reported that over 3,000 of its people were killed in the recent fighting, while the Israeli side has reported a death toll of over 1,400.
