To do so, he enlists the help of a goofy biker, Chuck, played by Tommy Kirk, and a reluctant ghost, Bobby, played by Boris Karloff, who returns from the afterlife to protect Cecily from harm. While Cecily is at her uncle's beachfront mansion, the characters get involved in a series of comedic and spooky situations, including a surfing contest, a mummy that comes to life, and the titular ghost wearing an invisible bikini.
