This video demonstrates how I block out (map out) the painting to work on composition. Supplies: Professional Grade Oil paints: Titanium white, cadmium yellow deep, cadmium yellow pale, yellow ocher, transparent red oxide, alizarin crimson, rose deep (Old Holland), ultramarine blue, raw umber, black Medium: 1 part linseed oil plus 1 part Gamblin Gamsol Brushes: Filberts and pointed rounds (I use Rosemary & Co. synthetic) Canvas surface size and material of your choice.
