I talk about how different countries use different currencies. Canada and the USA both use the dollar ($) but the Canadian dollar and the US dollar are different. In Canada we use a dollar coin while in the United States they use a dollar bill. In Canada we now use plastic, or polymer, banknotes, while in America they still use paper banknotes. As of 2020, the Canadian dollar is worth much less than the US dollar, but at times in the past, the Canadian dollar was worth the same or more than the US dollar. This video teaches English to beginners entirely in English, using a natural approach of listening to comprehensible input. I use lots of visuals, pointing, gestures, and repetition as I talk to make my speaking easy to understand for ESL beginners, so they can acquire English without study or translation.
