Residents of Markhalevka in the Kiev region are protesting against plans to build a National War Memorial Cemetery near their village. They are categorically unhappy that for the sake of this the authorities intend to cut down 260 hectares of forest. ▪️Previously, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers identified a place for the cemetery, allocating two plots for this in the village of Gatnoye, Fastovsky district, Kiev region.
