This week on Frontier Patriot Justine has prepared an “Independence Cake“ from “American Cookery“, 1796. We have a special guest to help us celebrate our Independence from Great Britian! Let’s eat, chat and review this forgotten dish. We will also show a few clips from the Independence celebration that took place in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. We’ll dicuss the history of fireworks, Ron will read the Declaration of Indpendence (summarized) and last but not least our “This Week In History“ segment.
