Gallowstree Common is a small hamlet in the south of England. In 1922 the few people living there were shocked to their core when it was discovered that Sarah Ann Blake, the landlady of the Crown and Anchor pub, had been brutally murdered. Even more shocking was when 15 year old farm hand, Jack Hewett, was charged and eventually found guilty of the crime. However, 50 years after his death that ruling has been thrown into doubt. 00:00 - Intro 00:45 - Gallowstree Common.
