On 23 September 1967, Royce Hart helped Richmond win its sixth premiership at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Five weeks later, the 19 year-old dazzled Irish spectators at Croke Park – the spiritual home of Gaelic games in Ireland. The Galahs is a documentary film explaining how Royce Hart, Ron Barassi, Bob Skilton and other VFL stars of the 1960s came to play the All-Ireland champions at Croke Park. The legacy of this first game is the International Rules Series, a competition which continues to engage football supporters in Australia and Ireland.
