TEMPLE OF HEAVEN ----------------------⭐⭐ 798 Art District – New Landmark of Beijing Urban Culture ----------------------⭐⭐ 798 Art District is a new landmark and a gathering place in Beijing for young people who love art and culture. This area is known as 798 but actually it is an innovative park renovated from the old state-owned electronics industry factories called 718 Joint Factory and Factory 798 is one of them. Since 2001, artists from around and outside Beijing have been gathering in Factory 798. Their unique artistic vision has found the advantages of this place for artistic work. They rent and make full use of the German Bauhaus-style original factory buildings. With a little furnishing and decoration, they successfully turn these decommissioned factories into a special space for art exhibition and creation. 798 Art District is now home to nearly 200 galleries, exhibitions, art centers, and independent artists. You can find many creatively designed architectures, stylish boutiques, cafes and restaurants here. The 798 Art District, also known as Dashanzi, is a cluster of former military factories now housing hip creative spaces like 798 Photo Gallery and the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, showing established and emerging Chinese artists. Outdoor sculpture installations sit alongside boutiques offering quirky fashion and artsy gifts. Al fresco brunches and specialty coffee are the draw at the area’s chic cafes. 798 Art District is a place full of art renovations, graffiti walls, exhibitions and galleries. You can feel the artistic aura all over the zone. The places listed below are just some typical ones of them. A more attractive and artistic 798 is waiting for you to explore. ----------------------⭐⭐ Wangjing SOHO ----------------------⭐⭐ Wangjing SOHO is a complex of three curvilinear asymmetric skyscrapers in Wangjing in Beijing, China, between central Beijing and Beijing Capital International Airport. The towers contain both office and retail space. The Wangjing SOHO in Beijing is a mixed-use skyscraper designed by the Queen of Curves, Zaha Hadid. When looking at these buildings, one can see three mountain-like skyscrapers shimmering under the golden sun, as if they are almost in motion. The iconic multipurpose complex, consisting of three towers measuring 118m, 127m and 200m height, was inaugurated in September 2014. It is located in Wangjing, one of the fastest-growing business districts in Beijing and a hub for IT and telecommunications firms and technology start-ups. The design responds to the flows of the city and allows natural daylight into each building from all directions. They frame a series of new public spaces designed to serve the buildings' occupants and the local neighbourhood, including landscaped gardens, a central plaza and a park. Described as “three interweaving mountains“, the towers feature curved and tapered forms. The tallest and most slender is 200 metres high, while the other two are slightly broader, with heights of 127 and 118 metres. Externally, the buildings are wrapped in ribbons of white aluminium that break the glazing up into narrow horizontal stripes. These provide solar shading, but also form ledges that help facilitate the building's maintenance. ---------------------⭐⭐ Other Walk East's Cool Playlists: Night Walking Tour In China's Metropolitan Cities: 4K⁶⁰ Traditional Chinese Architectures: China's Stunning Old Towns: Shanghai City Classic Scenes: 4K⁶⁰ Driving In China: ----------------------⭐⭐ 0:00 Intro 2:25 798 ART ZONE 49:42 WANGJING SOHO 1:18:31 BEIJING RAILWAY STATION 1:29:25 CHANG'AN STREET BIKE TOUR 2:17:36 CBD AREA TOUR 2:23:05 XIDAN SHOPPING AREA 2:48:12 SOLANA SHOPPING MALL 3:18:08 SUBURBAN SKATING RINK 3:27:15 TEMPLE OF HEAVEN #beijing #Beijing2023
