The Mio ViVa V25 video recorder is a budget, but very functional device that can offer a potential user not only Full HD video recording and photography, but also a good set of additional options. At the same time, this model is enclosed in a very compact case and will take up minimal space on the windshield of the car. Further, I propose to consider in detail the Mio ViVa V25 and, of course, evaluate all its capabilities. Characteristics: type: DVR GPS-informer; sensor: 2.0 MP, CMOS; video resolution: HD (720p) or Full HD (1080p), 30 fps; recording format: mov, codec; length of fragments: 1, 3, 5 min; lens viewing angle: 135°; display: 2“; memory card slot: microSD (not lower than class 10), up to 128 GB; microphone: yes; power: the built-in accumulator, an onboard network of 12 - 24 V; mount: suction cup; additionally: glass optics, photography, auto-switching on the recording, event recording in a separate file, date and time stamp, speed, coordinates, GPS-informer, voice alerts; dimensions, weight: mm, 65 g The Mio ViVa V25 car DVR is a rather interesting device in terms of functionality, which, in addition to recording video, can record the speed of movement, coordinates, and also warn about cameras along the way. As for the quality of the recorded video, it is, of course, not the highest, but the registrar is quite capable of capturing the general picture of what is happening on the road, and it is quite possible to identify car license plates in city traffic. In addition, I was pleased with the work of the GPS-informer in the city, it notifies 500-600 meters before the installation site of the speed camera, which allows you to react in time. And in the end, if we weigh all the pros and cons of Mio ViVa V25 according to the test results, then I would still recommend it for purchase. Inexpensive, with a great picture, proven MIO quality, absolutely no knowledge required from the owner. In my opinion, ideal for old people and undemanding users. Simple as an axe. I took it out of the box - stuck my memory card in, connected it to the cigarette lighter, started the car and started recording. The only time you will need to “go into it” is to set the date and time. The built-in low-capacity battery is intended only for saving the settings and the date, as well as for proper shutdown in case of a sudden blackout. You don’t need to charge it, but if you want to tinker with the settings at home, you need to separately purchase a USB-mini USB cable that can be connected to a computer / TV or any 5V power supply! (Only 5V, not higher). A minute after the start of recording, in order to save power, the recorder’s screen goes blank. No need to be scared, the recording continues to work, and to wake up the display, just press any button on the recorder. On the side panel you can see a button with a crossed-out microphone, you must press it if you do not want to record sound in the cabin. After activating the function, the microphone icon in the upper right corner of the screen will darken. When you press the red OK button, the event will be written to a non-rewritable video file. Automatic deletion, which will not happen after the memory card is refilled. Recorded and went quietly further on business with a working registrar, and at home you already get this important file. That’s really all you need to know about him. The picture writes great for the money, just a gift, a wide viewing angle captures the panorama. The sound is also superb, clearly without hoarseness.
