Valentine SOund Productions and New Southern Records are 2 underground labels in malaysia specialising in italo disco and italo dance in the 90's. In 1995-1996, VSP released techno kings 1 & 2, and techno Queens 1 & 2. both are out of print now. But they sold really well in those years, even beating big name record companies in malaysia like BMG and EMI. VSP and NSR both hold the licisence for underground european labels like SAIFAM,ZYX, bellaphon, blanco y negro, discomagic, the same labels for italo disco. In fact its because of this eurodance, VSP had their best years of business back then. Almost every car with a powerful stereo back then, or any shoe shop or supermarket would be blaring out loud DJ Miko's Whats Up, ricky wilson's Please forgive me, Datura's Fade To Grey ,Whigfield's Saturday Night, to name a few.
