Making Delta Faucet Solenoid Adapter

My six years old touch control (touchless) kitchen faucet by Delta stoped working. A rubber membrane of the solenoid valve failed. All attempts to find a replacement for this little membrane which was worth a quoter or so didn’t succeed. All attempts to find a solenoid valve replacement didn’t succeed. So I had to by a newer model of the whole assembly available from Delta. Unfortunately, the newer model of the solenoid assembly which I got from Amazon didn’t fit into the connectors from my older faucet. He
