The Blues Driver is like having a bluesy vintage tube amp in a compact pedal; it has a much smoother and natural sound than a lot of the modern pedals around. This creation from Boss gives a very similar tone to some of the vintage Fender amplifiers. The pedal has a level, tone and gain control. The level allows you to balance the on/off levels, while the tone enables you to select an ideal overall tone from bright to warm. The gain allows you to go from a slightly crunchy sound right up to full on blues rock. A great all round pedal, worth checking out the similar SD1 and the OD3 too.
