Emergency Operation for Acute type A Aortic Dissection by Echo-guided Direct Aortic Cannulation

Acute type A Aortic Dissection is a life-threatening disease. We demonstrated our technique of “echo-guided“ direct ascending aortic cannulation with Seldinger method. Hypothermic circulatory arrest at tympanic membrane temperature of 25 C was introduced, then open distal anastomosis was constructed with Gelweave 26 mm graft. Detailed techniques were described with telops. Operation was completed in 2hour and 50 minutes without much bleeding.
