While waiting for an approaching wedge tornado that formed near Ottumwa, Iowa, a new tornado spun up in the cyclic supercell right in front of me around 4:20pm CDT (I know) on 3/31/2023. It grew quickly into a wedge with multiple flanking vortices. I followed alongside it until it crossed the road ahead of me, just grazing the northern edge of the town. Thankfully there don't seem to be any injuries or fatalities related to this particular tornado. But condolences go out to the property owners, especially the owner of that garage I checked on.
