Young pianist Michael Lu plays the Mozart piano sonata closest to his heart, the K. 533/494 in F major. He auditioned for Maria João Pires' North American Partitura Residency at the Gilmore Keyboard Festival with this recording and was one of the six pianists personally selected by the Maestra to participate.
