Medea Benjamin and her fellow activists at Code Pink are legendary for their disruptive approach to calling out the war machine and promoting peace and negotiation. Most recently Benjamin and company interrupted a Brookings Institution conference on the Ukraine War featuring Rep. Adam Smith who was, until recently, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, to demand that the United States push for negotiations to end the bloodshed in Ukraine.
