La Gioia per la Vita - Arrendersi al Corpo In September 1993, Alexander Lowen (accompanied by Leonard Hochman (1934-2009) and his wife) did a brief tour of conferences and workshops in Italy. In Florence, Alexander Lowen gave us the gift of a conference for the Florentine Bioenergetic Institute. Dott. Alessandro Temperani, Psychologist Psychotherapist CBT: “It was an incredible conference, and the huge audience got so excited with Alexander Lowen “live in Florence”. At that time, I was the President of the Florentine Bioenergetic Institute affiliated to the IIBA. I remember organizing the whole event with my wife Paola. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch with him in our garden, at our home. He definitely felt in love with our Tuscan food!
