Specialists of the Russian peacekeeping forces’ medical detachment continue to provide medical assistance to the civilian population in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh On a daily basis, military doctors of the Russian peacekeeping forces’ medical detachment continue to provide qualified and specialised medical care to civilian population in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh who had previously been evacuated from areas of active hostilities. ▫️ The medical detachment consists of doctors from various specialities, including military surgeons, anaesthesiologists-resuscitators, therapists, epidemiologists and psychologists. ▫️ On the territory of the Russian peacekeeping contingent there is a block-modular camp equipped with modern medical equipment allowing to carry out up to 80 X-ray, fluorographic and ultrasound examinations per day, a dressing room with the possibility of providing surgical assistance, as well as a surgical and resuscitation diagnostic module with an intensive care ward. ▫️ The Russian peacekeeping force support continuous cooperation with Baku, Erevan, and Stepanakert, aimed to prevent bloodshed, uphold humanitarian law in regard to civilian population, and safeguard the security of the Russian peacekeeping forces. ▫️ At present, 1,340 people, 607 of them are children, remain in the location of the peacekeepers and are unable to return to their homes.
