Marc Chantereau, Pierre-Alain Dahan, and Slim Pezin were three top session players in France who, inspired by the worldwide success their French colleagues Marc Cerrone & Alec Costandinos were enjoying, decided to jump the disco wagon and went to London's Trident Studios to record an album in March 1977, taking the listeners on a stunning VOYAGE across the world. It took a while, however, before it started taking off internationally. In February 1978, Billboard Disco Columnist Vince Aletti reviewed an import copy, saying: “Voyage promises to be one of the season's major disco releases“, three weeks before it was released on Miami's TK label in the US. It sailed to the #1 spot on the Disco Charts, and was quickly signed by Germany's Hansa label, where the tribal chant percussion tune Point Zéro was released as the first single to no success.
