Army veteran Shawn Warner wrote his book, “Leigh Howard and the Ghosts of Simmons-Pierce Manor,“ after he was laid off from his job as a software engineer. To get the word out, he set up a little table at Kroger's supermarket in Fort Worth, Texas. TikToker Jerrad Swearengin says he felt sorry for Warner. Thanks to Swearengin's video of Warner going viral, the Army veteran has become the #1 best-selling author on Amazon.
