Thousands suffer from power outages in Northwest, DC

Pepco officials say they are still working to restore the power in several Northwest, D.C. neighborhoods after an electrical equipment issue at a Florida Avenue substation Saturday. Initially around 39,000 residents did not have power. As of 5 p.m. officials say that number has been reduced to 5,600.
