️🇮🇱🇵🇸 Chronicles of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: December 14-15, 2023 ▪️Israeli troops continue their ground operation in both the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, ongoing air raids have rendered the enclave uninhabitable, as openly acknowledged by the West. ▪️In the vicinity of Beit Lahia, the IDF is focused on clearing the urban area and destroying Hamas’ underground communications. Additionally, in the same area near Kamal Adwan Hospital, the Israelis are conducting filtration operations, resulting in the detention of 70 individuals suspected of having ties to militants. ▪️Simultaneously, fighting persists in the approaches to Gaza’s center, including the Sheikh Radwan, Al Zaytoun, and Al Shujaiya areas. In response, Palestinian militias have launched raids on Israeli positions, but have failed to regain the initiative. ▪️A similar situation persists in the southern part of the enclave, where Israeli forces are striving to expand their zone of control near Khan Yunis. At present, the IDF is actively employing engineering vehicles to demolish ruins and construct passageways deep into the urban area. ▪️Palestinian militias are not standing idly by and, in addition to their regular sorties, they have also targeted Israeli border kibbutzim with shelling. Hamas has recently reported rocket attacks on IDF concentrations in Sufa, Nirim, Kissufim, and Ofakim. ▪️The intensity of clashes in the West Bank has slightly increased. The IDF has been conducting an operation in Jenin for over three days, resulting in 11 fatalities and several dozen injuries. ▪️Fighters from the Shiite Ansar Allah movement continue to impede ships from reaching the Israeli port of Eilat.
