The timing of Prince Harry's solo trip to New York will trigger more stress for “hurt and offended“ Prince William, an expert has warned. The Duke of Sussex is set to visit New York next month, following on from faux royal excursions with wife Meghan to Nigeria and most recently Colombia. It comes as the paperback version of his controversial memoir Spare - which includes numerous allegations against his brother - is set to be released in October. It has the potential to re-open old wounds for the Prince of Wales, who is also set for his own NYC trip in September for the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit. Royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun the roughly coinciding visits to the US city are “unfortunate“ and William is still reeling from the “enormous amount of hurt and offence“ he suffered following Harry's book and Netflix documentary.
