On 19 August 1980, Saudia Flight 163 (HZ-AHK) Lockheed L-1011-200 TriStar suffered an in-flight fire in the cargo hold after takeoff from Riyadh International Airport, Saudi Arabia. The aircraft performed an emergency landing back at Riyadh. All 301 perished due to smoke inhalation. The crew didn't evacuate the aircraft. The cause of the fire is disputed. Possibly caused by butane stoves.
