Crank up your volume for this simply painted but BEAUTIFULLY SOUNDING 727-200 operated by Kalitta Charters II as “Dragster 725.” This old jet used to be painted in the “Air Horse One” livery. If you look and listen very closely around 0:45 you’ll see a spark inside the #2 engine followed by a puff of dark black smoke and a LOUD compressor stall and surge before the 3 JT8Ds’ thunder and crackling takes over. Shockingly, the compressor stall wasn’t an issue, and this aircraft continued safely to Laredo. Enjoy!
