Antonín Leopold Dvořák (1841 -- 1904) was a Czech composer of late Romantic music, who employed the idioms of the folk music of Moravia and his native Bohemia. Dvořák's own style is sometimes called “romantic-classicist synthesis“. His works include symphonic, choral and chamber music, concerti, operas and many orchestral and vocal-instrumental pieces. Humoresques (Czech: Humoresky), Op. 101 (B. 187) is a piano cycle by the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, written during the summer of 1894.
