Welcome to another edition of Dungeon Synth Sunday. This week we have two features for you today, starting with this disorienting whirl of psychedelic medieval dungeon folk from the UK, courtesy of A Stranger Leads the Dance. Combining previously released eps into a remastered whole, complemented by two new tracks, this remarkably unique album immediately transports the listener into a psychedelic dreamscape with a flurry of live instruments and synth drone. Heavily effected flutes, drums and all manner of mysterious live sounds combine with bucolic ambience and lysergic melodic lines, into a simultaneously euphoric and disturbing experience. Tapes of this luminous curiosity are available in a limited run of 100 acid-green shells from Moonworshipper Records: Digital copies from ASLtD direct: Band: A Stranger Leads The Dance
