Finally, first ride with passengers! As of today, new Škoda 16Ev trains in Latvia are starting regular operations - they will gradually replace the old soviet ER2 type trains. In this video, you see the new latvian trains along the Jurmala line: several trains seen at Imanta station (including the first inaugural journey), and then take a ride till Dubulti station and back. These new Skoda trains for Latvia are built by Škoda Transpotation (Škoda Vagonka) and will be operated by Vivi (“Vienā Vilcienā“, previously known as “Pasažieru vilciens“).
