In April 1967, in New York City, at least 100-thousand people demonstrated both for and against war in Viet Nam. Martin Luther King-Junior arrived at the United Nations building, where he made an antiwar speech. 50-thousand people took part in both pro and anti Viet Nam war demonstrations in San Francisco, California.
