On Fred. Olsen cruise ship Balmoral in Bay of Biscay, huge waves pounded the ship. This wave broke over our cabin window nearly 30' above the normal waterline. The biggest wave was over 50' high, according to an officer on the ship. We sailed from Dover UK on 17 Jan 09 and returned 27th, having failed to make our destinations - Tangiers and Lisbon
