I was thinking about this quite a lot in the past weeks, trying to figure out a great surprise for my friend Emma Marie when she's getting married. After a couple of different options, I decided to upload a cover of one of my favorite worship songs I got to listen to when I was visiting Emma in 2022. Whilst most of the backing track is recorded and played by myself, I really want to give credits to the amazing Mark Thomas for providing absolutely glorious electric guitars for this cover project. It would not have been close to how it is now without these guitars. Also many thanks to Jörg Zinke for lending me a whole car filled with light equipment to make this video come true. Also big shoutout to Conny, Levke and Claudia helping on set as well as Christian Kobert and Michael Löderbusch from our local church, giving me the opportunity to film this video in such a spiritual environment. The church we've filmed in is the St. Petrus und Paulus church in Groß Ammensleben, where I've had my confirmation in in 2019. To Emma and Aiden, I wish you all the best—happiness, joy in life, a strong bond with Christ, and a firm foundation to sustain you through whatever life brings. I hope you both and everyone else here on YouTube will enjoy this cover! Credits: Instruments & Vocals: Noah-Benedikt Electric Guitars: Mark Thomas Audio & Video Production: Noah-Benedikt Camera: Christopher Konrad On set assistant: Levke Grobler Remote assistant and lights: Jörg Zinke Set coordinator: Claudia Hahn Makeup: Levke Grobler Special thanks to: Sebastian Anders Special thanks for feedback to: Katrin Zinke Local help: Michael Löderbusch Permit for filming the church: Priest Christian Kobert Facts for nerds: To achieve this “Worship Snare Sound“ I've actually used an old 90s maple Pearl Masters snare with an EVANS sound ring on it. The crowd vocals are all sung by Noah-Benedikt stacking up 60 audio layers of his voice. This project contains over 150 audio tracks with 70 for vocals and 18 for drums alone. I've tried to capture a “live“ vibe as best as possible mixing this song like a live recording.
