Laser Scan of the Somerton Man's Death Mask

This video shows the work of the 2012 University of Adelaide students doing a 3D laser scan of the bust. This will enable a 3D computer graphic reconstruction of the Somerton Man. When the bust was created the facial features were distorted. We will attempt to remove those distortions and create a truer looking image. Notice the black dots behind the bust. These are reference points required by the 3D reconstruction software.
