No titles. Commentator introduces “those two professors of mirth“ Murgatroyd and Winterbottom (aka comedians Ronald Frankau and Tommy Handley) as still photographs of the pair fade in and out. Pathe Studio, London. Tommy Handley and Ronald Frankau are in a park type set and perform a cross talk act telling of their experiences at the seaside. They talk of various things including girls in bathing costumes, their wives and so on with plenty of crosstalk and double meanings. They also do funny impressions of the sea. Towards the end of the sketch, they go into the same lines they started with (“I shall see you at the seaside this year, I expect?“ - “If I'm not kept too busy at the BBC-side.“). Handley says “Why are you starting this all over again?“ and Frankau replies, sotto voce, “Two more people have just come in, can't you see?“. Handley says “Oh yes, well, let them wait“ (for the picture to come round again in the cinema programme!). They shake hands, start to walk off and say in unison to
