From the band's wiki entry: formed in 1989 in Birmingham, UK, by Paul Aspel and John Roome, designed specifically to be a “cyberpunk band“, the band cited many diverse visual influences on their music. Amongst these were authors William Gibson and John Shirley; films including Bladerunner, Aliens, Spaghetti Westerns and Film Noir. Essentially the band was formed to create virtual sound tracks for these types of films and books. I've loved the album Red Skin Eclipse since its release in 93 - if you find it in a bargain bin somewhere grab it because there's not a duff track to be heard and it's a rare example of a great UK - Birmingham! - industrial EBM electrogoth hybrid. It revolves around an inspired vocal sample, and builds up a real head of steam. .!
