Emotional Clothing collection responds to the wearer's psycho-physiological changes

Polish fashion designer Iga Węglińska has made two tops that change colour or flash with LED lights to help the wearer identify when they are feeling stressed or anxious. Węglińska developed the garments using biofeedback – a therapeutic technique that uses sensors attached to your body to measure key body functions to help patients better understand their bodies.  The designer created the collection as part of her doctoral dissertation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in an attempt to “broaden the experience of clothing“. “The Emotional Clothing are polysensory garments interned to expand the limits of experiencing clothing through experiences based on sensory substitution,“ Węglińska told Dezeen.
