The Ballad of the 20th Maine, written by American folk trio “The Ghost of Paul Revere“, is a song detailing the journey of a soldier in the famed 20th Maine Volunteer Regiment during the American Civil war, especially focused on the regiment’s actions at the Battle of Gettysburg.
